Chorley service - 125C - please note this service number reverts to the 125C. Note this is a morning-only service. See more information below.
The nearest bus stop is the Roebuck in Bilsborrow on the Lancaster to Preston bus route (service no. 40 and 41). There are approximately two buses per hour during the week and Myerscough College operates a shuttle bus from the campus to the bus stop every 20 minutes. For further information on the bus services in Lancashire contact Travelwise Transport Information on 0870 608 2608
The 125M services replaces last year's 125C services which we shared with Preston College. Please note: the 125M only runs in the morning and there is no return at the end of the day; students are expected to use the service buses to return. This has been done to allow segregation between Myerscough & Preston's College students. Timetables for this service can be found at on Stagecoach website or through their app. The bus leaves Chorley at 07:32 and will bring students directly to campus. Students can then use the 40/41 service to Preston Bus Station and connect to any 125 service throughout the day to return home. Students travelling from Leyland can purchase the Stagecoach Scholar Pass through University Centre Myerscough.
University Centre Myerscough offers Stagecoach bus passes to students travelling from Morecambe, Lancaster and Garstang on the 40/41 service. Any students travelling from Bolton, Leyland, Southport and other areas South of Preston, that operates a Stagecoach Service, can also purchase the Stagecoach Scholar Pass and then travel on the 40/41 public service from Preston to Bilsborrow. Students who obtain a Stagecoach bus pass can use these any time so travel can fit around their timetables
Why not download the Stagecoach App and plan your journey with live times. The app also allows you to buy tickets online, save your favourite routes and locate the nearest bus stop. (please note, this app is for public services only and not University Centre Myerscough direct buses.)
