Myerscough Motorsports all set for Gaz Shocks 116 Trophy

Students and staff from Myerscough College and University Centre’s Motorsport department will be competing this Saturday (June 1st) at the Gaz Shocks 116 Trophy race at Oulton Park.

Degree lecturers Bart Lang and Simon Moss will once again share the 'endurance' race at the Cheshire circuit this Saturday with qualifying at 9.35am and the 90-minute race starting at 1.45pm.

Second year degree students Finlay Hutchinson and Isaac Grew, who attended round 1 at Silverstone, will be joined by final years Alex Booth and Fran Watts as well as Level 3 students Chloe Pickering and Lewis Wilcock, the latter having applied for Myerscough's Motorsport programme this September.

The event is part of BMW Live which is a celebration of all things BMW. There is qualifying and race action all day from 8.30am to 6.20pm.
